Mohd Roslan Ahmad gained his certification in Ceramic Handicraft Development from the Malaysian Handicraft Centre of Technology and Development, in 1982. He received the Glaze & Body Development Technology certification from NITC, Nagoya, Japan in 1988. During his lifetime, he has worked as senior research assistant in the Ceramics Technology Group, Structural Material, Advanced Material Programme, SIRIM Berhad where he focused on clay stoneware development, porcelain, and bone Chine in product design, prototypes and print. He took home the bronze in the Karya Seni Kreatif Kebangsaan PNB (National Creative Artwork PNB) challenge in Kuala Lumpur. Having vast experience in ceramics and design technology, Roslan Ahmad was involved in many researches and design development projects and participated in several ceramics exhibitions. His artworks are collected by private individuals as well as by private and public institutions. This ceramic exhibition is held as a tribute to the late Roslan Ahmad. Among the ceramics on display are Gerobok Series 1-5, Collapse Series 1-3, Chinese Tea Pot Set, and Dragon Tea Pot 1-2. (1963-2015)
